I would definitely not be where I am in my career without STC. I joined 27 years ago and, as someone who switched from teaching to tech comm, learned SO much by attending as many meetings as I could, networking with other writers, and reading the organization’s publications. I was the sponge, and STC provided the river of knowledge. I’ve made so many friends, both U.S. and international, in STC.
